David Munrow

David Munrow was a trailblazing British musician and early music historian whose passion and energy revitalized medieval and Renaissance music for a modern audience. Born in 1942, Munrow's musical journey began at an early age, teaching himself the bassoon in just two weeks. His insatiable curiosity led him to master a wide array of wind instruments, including the recorder, shawm, crumhorn, and dulcian, as well as collecting folk instruments from Latin America.
