Known as "the blackest of Italian pianists," Faraò's musical journey began under the tutelage of Maestro Flavio Crivelli. His career took off as he collaborated with local musicians, notably bassist Piero Leveratto, and later ventured to the United States to play with legends like Red Holloway and Albert 'Tootie' Heath. Faraò's repertoire spans a wide range of jazz styles, from post-bop and hard bop to swing and Latin jazz, showcasing his versatility and depth as a musician. He has performed extensively in Europe and the United States, both as a solo artist and with his trio, which often features renowned musicians like Steve Williams on drums and Nicola Barbon on bass.
