Simon Crawford-Phillips

Simon Crawford-Phillips is a versatile British musician renowned for his multifaceted career as a pianist, conductor, and creative programmer. With a deep passion for contemporary repertoire, he has established himself as a champion of new music, continually pushing the boundaries of classical performance. As a soloist and chamber musician, Simon's artistry is celebrated worldwide, and his recent forays into conducting have further expanded his musical horizons. He is also a dedicated festival director, currently serving as the Artistic Director for the Change Music Festival in Norra Halland and the Västerås Music Festival, as well as the Co-Artistic Director of the Wye Valley Chamber Music Festival. His roles as Artistic Adviser and Chief Conductor for the Västerås Sinfonietta highlight his commitment to fostering musical excellence and innovation.
